Come for a meal after seeing Albertina Kerr Center. German food is worth a try here. Nicely cooked gnocchi, wiener schnitzels and onion pasta will impress you at the first bite. Many visitors come here to try good crepes, apple fritters and apple strudels. Get your meal started with delicious French beer, house wine or ale. Great ginger beer, French coffee or ginger tea are among the best drinks to degust.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE dinner Friday night. One of the best meals we've had in Portland. Highly recommend the beef rouladen & herb crepes. The beef was tender and had such an umami flavor. The accompanying spatzle and cabbage married so well together. The cocktails are very well priced and delicious - homemade ginger beer and an excellent beer selection. I'm so sad we just now found them and they are closing next month - definitely worth the trip! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We came by for dinner here tonight for the first time and are so sad to hear it’s closing! All around it was amazing. The drinks were incredible! From their witty names to the actual taste, I was so impressed. Their house made ginger beer was some of the best I’ve had, I even got some to take home! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in Portland. With gluten free and vegan dietary needs, this place blows away the competition with excellent dishes that any palate would rave about. The decor is unique, cozy, and artistic. The server/owner is incredibly kind, attentive, and balanced. It feels like a homey space I can go to solo or with friends that is quietly preserving the authenticity locals and long-time Portlanders cherish. Tip extra well. Enjoy a slow meal. Appreciate a craft— The Slide Inn is a Portland passion project and a gem I will keep regularly uplifting.
