Love this place. My girlfriend and I go all the time. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very family friendly. Price per person: $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Hard Ice Cream, Italian Ice

This is the third time I've ordered from there and gotten a to go sundae and asked for hard vanilla ice cream. It's been three times. I don't get it. I won't be going anymore because it's too expensive to waste money on wrong orders. I don't notice because I get it to go and can't see under the whipped topping. Uugghh.... Just disappointing. I stopped by Smyth's Ice Cream in Enfield because it was highly recommended ice cream in the area. This was a very busy ice cream spot. There was a long line waiting to place their order. They have a pretty nice list of hard ice cream flavors, and some soft serve. I got the pistachio. My mom got the soft serve chocolate, and it was a lot. The chocolate looked like three scoops, plenty for two to share. I have to say I was very disappointed in my pistachio flavor. First, the green color looked very artificial, obviously there's food coloring added here, next it was very hard, thirdly it tasted nothing like pistachio ice cream. It's basically green vanilla ice cream. I did appreciate the random chunks of pistachio through my scoop. The one scoop was a generous size. But does that matter when it's not very good? I did try the soft serve chocolate, that was better, but not the best chocolate I've ever had. I wasn't impressed by Smyth's Ice Cream, but it could be that I picked an off flavor. Based on my experience, I can't recommend getting ice cream here.
