45 minutes waiting for our food while every table around us had already paid and left. When we asked, the waitress blamed the delay on the meat. I ordered my steak medium rare. Joke. Somehow, 30 seconds to a minute later, everything showed up, including an extra dish we never ordered. The waitress was sarcastic and then blamed us for ordering wrong. My €30-ish steak was overcooked, tough, had clearly been sitting there. Terrible service, terrible place. The food is way too average to put up with this. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

As a family traveling in Roma for a week, we were looking for a nice local place for our last dinner in the city. Our experience at Il sorpasso was above expectations ! We've been waiting for almost an our for a table for 6, but without reservation it wasn't surprising. The staff was super nice and willing to make us comfortable. The ambiance is amazing there. Not to mention the food, absolutely impressive, fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €30–40 Kid-friendliness: Oui
