Let me preface this by stating that this review is for their second location, which is at 200 5th Street. Simply WORST customers service EVER! I ordered via Uber Eats for pickup since I had a coupon that was going to expire. I live on the south side of downtown and it was a bit of a chilly day. I walked down to the restaurant after they had confirmed the order. I arrived after the order said it was ready, and the owner says "We don't accept that order" and cancelled the order right in front of me! No offer for a substitution, no explanation, no nothing. I understand technology sucks at times. Definitely get it. However, if you don't want to accept certain promotions or specials, don't offer them! As someone who was GM of a 4.5 star restaurant with 7 different tablets, I can attest that the RESTAURANT must approve or contact these App's to run promotions like this. I will never be back and hope that many of you don't either.

This place is closed and empty. My favorite Italian go to food when I worked in downtown. Since Covid 19 pandemic hit, majority of downtown workers work remotely. Miss eating at this place so decided to take a trip downtown to go eat for lunch. Very shocked that the suite is closed and empty. No sign posted, no operation hours sign. Some old murals on the windows. Surrounding store were also closed. Tried calling the number for them on Google and operator says, number is no longer in service.

Quick, hearty Italian food!I was really craving some Italian sausage (the food, haha) and found Sorrento Cucina, which I think means Sorrento Kitchen. I don't know the difference between Sorrento food or Rome Food or even Olive Garden really, but this was great! The service line was fast and most notably, the bread fresh -- they would call it out with each order and someone would bring freshly toasted bread from the back. One of the ladies who helped me said the Italian Sausage and peppers is really popular. When I went their lasagna was almost gone and they had just opened! The Sausage definitely met expectations and the pene pasta was cooked al-dente. The marinara sauce was sweet and not watery. Plenty of seating too and it's convenient right in the skyway. It's a good, hearty lunch, especially for the cold winter.Last note: I hope some readers can understand my reference, but I just moved here from Chicago. In Sears/Willis Tower in Chicago, there was an Italian restaurant in the 'basement' of the building, the food and setting took me right back to that place. It made me miss Chicago! Okay, this review isn't helping anyone, sorry!
