Both Gordon Parks Centennial and Caruso's are recommended for visiting. This cafe may please you with good filet américain, salads and salmon. Do not go away without enjoying tasty bagels, fruitcake and yogurt. This place is known for delicious wine or good champagne. As clients write in their reviews, coffee served at Caruso's is great.
This place is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Here you will pay democratic prices. There is a pleasant atmosphere and homey decor at this spot.

Caruso's is a comfortable cafe in the lobby of the Westin. It is located in the original historic building, right across the lobby from the front desk. It's a great place to grab a mocha or tea and relax for a few minutes.

Nothing is cheap, but the prices are in line with the Union Square area. The fresh juices were yummy. I tried the oatmeal and berry yogurt along with the latte. All good and the staff is very attentive and friendly. It's nice to get a morning snack and watch tv.

After a long day in the city, some friends and I decided to grab a drink here. We chose Caruso's over the other bar in the lobby since it looked busy. We should have just walked over to another place because the service here was terrible. We waited ~20 minutes for 4 cocktails. After our waiter finally serves us, he gives us 3 out of 4 drinks, and said the other one was on its way. He then comes back a couple minutes later saying they were out of a certain ingredient in the last drink. By that point we didn't even care to order another drink. Despite the poor service, we did get a lot of plates of their assorted nuts, which was nice to munch on during the wait. Although it was a comfortable place to hang out, I don't think I'll be back anytime soon.
