Booked this for my mothers wake. Despite it being a bitterly cold day there was no heating on in the function room. No food was out when our guests arrived, I had to ask for it to be brought out. Tea and coffee had to be drunk from paper cups. I had to ask for the tea snd coffee to be refilled. Toilet facilities were rustic to say the least. Sandwiches were they were brought out were dry and the bread was crispy. Utterly disappointing and would never recommend or indeed return. Needless to say the majority of the sandwiches were left!

Stopped in for lunch today as hadn’t been in for a long time. We certainly weren’t disappointed! Immediately made to feel welcome by the lovely bar/waiting staff. I ordered the goat’s cheese salad which was absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. Great sized portions and very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to return soon and enjoy more of the menu and lovely hospitality. We highly recommend giving it a try.

Used to go here regularly as food and staff were excellent. Decided to book for 4 adults and 2 children 12 March. Wish we hadn't. Food and service absolutely diabolical apart from one girl, Rebecca, who seemed to be the only one who had a clue and was really nice. Never going back. Disgusting and disappointing.
