This was the first time I’d encountered a situation like this in Korea, and this is my 4. visit to the country. Even when placing a simple order in English, the staff responded exclusively in Korean—not a single word of English. If you work in customer service, especially for an international chain, you could at least make the effort to learn a few basic words (although, to be fair, it seemed more like unwillingness than a lack of ability). No smile, of course, and everything was done as if serving customers was a punishment. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
