How disgusting and rude Manager Agne, bought latte coffee and it was taste like spoiled milk, asked to make another one but she said to me: I can't do anything with your taste, if you don't like it please don't come again! She was so rude!

I could write something political about their lack of a contribution to corporation tax, but I'm better than that. Instead, I'll consider this place as an objective observer. Well firstly, the downstairs area leaves a lot to be desired. There's not much room, and in peak periods it can be quite unpleasant. There's plenty of seating upstairs, where they've tried to create a rustic feel with the cliched mismatched chairs and table and wooden floors. Unless you get a nice padded seat, most of it is simply uncomfortable. It's either that or sit outside on Gentleman's Walk, the place in Norwich city centre with probably the highest footfall of any street. It's not quiet, due to no end of buskers. people selling crappy scarves on stands, and those chaps making identical sand sculptures of a dog which was impressive the first time I saw it and then quickly realised they had nothing else in their repertoire. That's nothing to do with Starbuck's of course, but it just makes me not want to sit outside. Besides which, this is England and not continental Europe, where the weather is suited to sitting outside. The toilets are ok, clean(ish), and the staff are their usual aloof selves where they don't really pay much attention to your name, and look like they couldn't give a toss (that's not a criticism of the staff, I totally get their employment is simply a means to an end). The drinks are, well, fine. That's the best you'll get. You're never going to be blown away by a Starbucks coffee. That's not what their about. They're about coming up with new creations to keep you interested throughout the year. If a pumpkin latte doesn't do it for you at Halloween, you may well fancy a Gingerbread or Mulled Wine frappuccino (or something similar) around Christmas. That's how they get you. I for one would rather support an independent coffee shop, where you get the feeling you're not just a number, and you can tell where your money is going. Speaking of money too, they're quite overpriced too, another reason to look elsewhere in my view.In conclusion: It's Starbucks. The coffee is ok.
