I had a really uncomfortable experience here today that I’m still processing. Jake, who took my order, was great super kind and helpful while I was trying a new drink. No issues there at all. But while I was waiting, I noticed every single customer’s name being called out clearly as their drinks were ready. I kept waiting, and eventually saw my drink just sitting on the counter. I had to walk up and ask whose it was, and that’s when the barista said my name ,quietly, only after I asked. As the only Black woman in the store, that moment didn’t sit right with me. I was paying attention the whole time, and my name was never called like everyone else’s. When I was leaving, the barista said, “Oh, I didn’t call your name because I didn’t” and trailed off. That explanation didn’t make sense, and it honestly felt like she knew it wasn’t right. I’m not quick to jump to conclusions, but experiences like this are hard to ignore. Being overlooked in a space where everyone else is acknowledged so clearly feels uncomfortable and isolating. I appreciate Jake’s service, but I hope more awareness and consistency can be practiced moving forward. Everyone deserves to feel seen and treated the same. Yes The lady pictured was the one who didn’t call my name . But called several others. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Unbelievably slow service and their coffee machines were broken. Waited 20 minutes in line with only four customers in front of us. Not a good experience.
