I have never encountered a sales assistant like the one working the night shift on 2 July 2026. First, he blocked my fuel pump. Then he insisted that I pay before fuelling. After I prepaid a fixed amount, the pump did not work properly at first and showed an unexplained £3.00. After waiting for a while, it eventually started working, but it dispensed fuel beyond my prepaid amount. I tried to explain that the machine was not working correctly and was displaying the incorrect £3.00 amount, but he would not listen. Instead, he appeared very angry and dismissive. Rather than arguing, I paid and left. Overall, it was a very disappointing customer service experience.

Do not visit late evening. Very unhelpful and unprofessional staff. Very expensive gass bottle they are charge 30 percent more

Rude staff ! Was waiting in the queue as everybody else. When my turn came to collect the parcel, the person at the counter did refused to give me my parcel as they were too many people behind me that needed to be served. I did told him I am Customer too as everybody else In the queue and he’s reply was - first thing he needs to put all the parcels back before he will be able to give me my parcel back and to do so he needs to serve all the people behind me first because it’s very busy . Is that mean that customers who came to Esso Coventry Walgrave to collect parcel doesn’t count as a customer ???? very bad service and rude stuff.
