A MICHELIN star: cuisine of great finesse. Worth the step!
Simple standard.

不值那價格。. Food was fine, but I felt like I’m paying for their salary not their quality. Overpriced for sure. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

I visited Sushi Ryu for a special birthday lunch with a friend, and the experience was overall excellent. Every piece of sushi was skillfully prepared and served at the perfect pace, allowing us to savor each bite. The uni (sea urchin) was especially memorable—generously portioned and incredibly creamy, it brought so much joy to the meal! The atmosphere was calm and elegant, with the chefs focused and attentive. We loved the counter seat experience, watching each piece being made right in front of us—it added a beautiful sense of ceremony to the meal. One small downside: I had mentioned during the reservation that it was a birthday celebration, but there wasn’t any special greeting, dessert, or surprise from the restaurant, which was a bit of a letdown. That said, the quality of the sushi itself more than made up for it as a Michelin one star restaurant. A fantastic spot for serious sushi lovers looking for a refined, omakase-style dining experience in Taipei. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $2,000+ Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
