Visited for lunch. Bar lady's attitude was churlish and poor. Once in the restaurant area, no problems at all. Lunch menu food was acceptable for the price paid. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Starters were nice mains were awful. Twice a steak had to be sent back was cold. Chips hard in the middle burnt tasting hunters chicken.. please don't get us wrong we never complain about food and eat out alot but tonight they were just not on there game. Food area was busy. Hence all that they did take all mains of the bill. Fair play.. and the wee guy waiter was so kind and full of apologies bless him.... Price per person: £10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

Had a lovely evening meal with my partner at the Swan & Bottle. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. It's spacious and comfortable inside and the food was excellent. Highly recommend the chef's board as a sharing starter and the pork belly was really tasty. Good value for money. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
