This may be the greatest ice cream I have ever had. Always great with a wide variety of unique and interesting flavors. Two enthusiastic thumbs up for one of my favorite spots in the entire KC area ... There's not much I can say except this is a must go to spot everytime we're in the area. Rock Chalk Jayhawk is the best ice cream flavor BAR NONE. Ben and Jerry's and Baskin Robin's have a lot of catching up to do. This was my first visit to Sylas & Maddy's Homemade Ice Cream. I took my grand baby, sister, and nephew. We all enjoyed the flavor we picked. I had the Gold Rush (snickers, Oreo, and caramel) in a chocolate rimmed waffle cone. I asked for a medium scoop and it was plenty. It was amazingly delicious. The cone didn't taste like your average sweet waffle cone. The flavor was good and it was light. A friend from work told me about this location. I'm glad there isn't one close to my house or I'd be in trouble. If you order your ice cream with a waffle cone, you'll find a treat at the bottom.
