If you’re looking for a legit Taiwanese spot that skips the basic "General Tso" routine, Taipei Cafe is it. We went for the first time and the food was seriously excellent. We had beef tendon, crispy fish and the garlic snow pea tips were all very good. It’s the real deal—super authentic flavors that you just don't find everywhere. Huge shoutout to Alice, who was awesome and gave us the best recommendations. She really made the experience a 10/10. We’re already planning our next trip back to try everything else on the menu. The roast duck at Taipei Cafe is truly exceptional in Raleigh! I've bought four roast ducks from them, and the taste is incredibly authentic! The General Tso's chicken is sweet and sour and delicious, my daughter's favorite!

Got the fish in Sichuan sauce, general tso and vegetables. Oh and house lomain The fish was ok. Not enough seasoning for my taste. The house lomain was so salty that it made everything else seem like there was no salt The vegetables were ok. The general tso... I almost drove the 12 minutes back and threw it back at them. It was soggy and lukewarm at best. The sauce had to be just a watery, pre-made or store bought sauce. Disgusting. And just way too expensive I'd skip this one fellas. Food: 1
