I'm writing this review some time after the trip. Memories of this wonderful place warm my soul. We stumbled upon this izakaya by chance on our first day of travel to Yomitan. It was a holiday and most restaurants and places were either closed or full. We didn't have a car to look for restaurants further from our hotel, so we looked nearby. Luckily, we found just this place. The izakaya was packed, but the friendly employee, Masa, offered to contact us within the hour if a table became available. He spoke excellent English and we were able to come to an agreement with him. After some time, we were able to return and have dinner at this place. The atmosphere here is very friendly and pleasant. They play retro music, the atmosphere is very lively, and the staff is very charismatic. Restaurant owner Takuya is the chef de cuisine. He prepared delicious grilled fish and skillfully sliced sashimi. His food was incredibly delicious. He was very friendly and kept up a conversation with the guests. We couldn't speak to him fluently because of the language, but we felt very comfortable and cozy. The restaurant worker, Takashi, has a very bright and charismatic appearance. He looks very cool and also he is very kind person. He was polite to customers and found a seat for us while we waited in line (he looked like a comic book character. Very cool man). Masa, the worker, spoke excellent English and interacted with the foreign guests. He prepared drinks that were very good. He also helped us choose food and told us about the menu. Thanks to his attentiveness to guests and friendliness, we visited this place twice. In this place you will feel like a part of Japanese society and be immersed in the local atmosphere. And of course with very tasty food and drinks! The fried fish was the most delicious and the sashimi slices were a good size. I especially liked the tomago (omelette) with mushrooms. We also tried raw horse meat. It was very interesting and good. My friend and I highly recommend this place to visit in Yomitan. They are open until one o'clock in the morning, and you can have a great time there. Thank you very much for the service, we send big greetings and hearts from Russia!
