Not only was the food great (delicious skewers, takoyaki, tofu and many other options!), we also felt welcome. Despite our limited knowledge of the Japanese language, we felt welcomed by the owner. This was a wonderful experience! At first I wasn't sure if my wife and I would be welcome as foreigners, but the owner was so welcoming and friendly! As we left, I accidentally knocked a bunch of business cards off of the counter. I began to apologize profusely, as my wife picked them up. Even then the owner was still very pleasant and understanding of my mistake. The food was delicious! I ordered the Takoyaki, and I think my wife ordered the fish cakes. Everything was hot and fresh, the Takoyaki was so hot it burned my mouth a little bit. Also, big shout out to the patron that was seated next to us. He was an older gentleman with a friendly smile and a warm presence. There was a TV show on that everyone inside was watching together, and even with the language barrier me and my wife could follow along. A couple of times where it was confusing, the man next to us helped explain some of what was going on. We took a chance on this little spot we were passing on our way to the Sky Tree, and it turned out to be quite the delight! Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
