Had an amazing food experience at my son's wedding rehearsal dinner this past weekend. My now daughter in-law recommended Tap Root & so glad she did! We were a group of 20 & the service & food were top notch! Everyone enjoyed & raved about the dish they chose. So impressed with the fried broccoli & cheese curds appetizers! The complimentary rolls were out of this world delicious! Our party consisted of a few locals that had nothing but good things to say about their previous experiences. Half our group was from out of state & everyone agreed this was a memorable experience they will relish forever! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went here before a show at the Lincoln Square. We are from out of town and had never been to Decatur. This was a great restaurant with an outstanding menu. Had a surf and turf special with filet mignon and screen stuffed shrimp. So great! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Me and my husband go to taproot and eat dinner occasionally and EVERY SINGLE TIME HAS BEEN EXCELLENT! All around good service. Last night we went and Ally was our server and she was pretty awesome! Definitely recommend 10/10. Definitely worth the money spent! Will be going again very soon!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
