Simply delicious and fresh food. I don't know what can be added when the plates were left empty at the end. We'll definitely return until the end of holiday. LE: second time in 5 days and again the food was amazing with generous portions. And most important, a real authentic greek taste. Later edit: after we tried many restaurants in Rethymno, some of them good and other disaster, we certainly can say Tassos Tavern is the best in the area. Everything we ate here was absolutely delicious, generous portions and definitely authentic Greek food (I'm passionate about greek food and I know how greek food should look and taste). In 10 days we visited Tassos Tavern 7 times and if will visit Rethymno in the future, this is the place we'll return with pleasure.
