We are lucky to live near Piknik Park where there are foods from diverse countries. We decided to try Taste of Casablanca and are very happy with the choice! We called at 6:30 and the owner let us know it would be ready in 15 minutes (super speedy!). We ordered the spicy chicken plate and it's full of rich flavor. The chicken has a slight kick to it equating to a medium salsa heat if that. The rich gravy with olives tempers the heat I'm guessing. The yellow rice picks up so much flavor. My favorites were the fresh sides. The pickled onion and beet salad was crunchy and fresh. The carrots were cooked perfectly through without being soggy and the feta added a nice savory touch. The lamb plate was also flavored well but there was more punch to the chicken! I had plenty for leftovers, my partner didn't leave any lamb behind so it's a good value for the price. Owner was friendly and chatted with us. Can't wait to go back.
