When staying in Riga, we had dinner at Taverna and two beers. The place looked nice at the very beginning, but very soon we faced the very bad service. The waiter moved in hyper slow motion and never showed any smile or other signs of friendliness. It seemed as if he was annoyed, that he needed to do service to the guest. The ordering of food and beverage was a very time consuming procedure. The food was ok, but no highlight. Annoying was the service fee of 10%. I'm willing to pay for good service, but I don't like to be urged to pay for bad service. A very unprofessional restaurant with slow and unfriendly personnel.
