Was really put off as we watched a member of kitchen staff feed a dog off the street dog treats then not bother to wash then before handling gfood. Also another member of staff wiped her nose on the back of her hand before then picking up plates to serve. Only person who understood the word hygiene was a young blonde lad that worked there who ran rings around the two woman. Also my daughter was ill about an hour after eating there. We were helped by a local shop who informed us, that people in the town stay away from there for that reason. Won't be returning. A lovely place to have a cream tea. A really pleasant cafe with the best scones. The tea is served in traditional cups and saucers along with warm scones, wth a ' just been baked ' taste. The menu choice looked fab but we only had cream teas. Meal type: Other Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Scones
