Came in mid January on a Tuesday just after noon. There was one patron there and one person waiting for to go/emporter. The menu options you see on Yelp are still the same, but sometimes they will have special proteins, they had spicy Tofu and something else I forget this day. The formule set menu of a sandwich plus a drink and dessert is what I got and I thought it was a great value. Good choice of different bottled tea drinks and other drinks. Friendly hello, server was patient with my poor French and spoke English well. I loved it that they asked me if I wanted the sandwich spicy or not - yes please! Merci! Know that is an option and that you can ask for that. I ordered regular pork but should have ordered the BBQ as that is what I prefer, but the regular was fine. It is marinated and tender, and it's served cold. I'm so used to the hot protein, it threw me off a little, but it was delicious regardless. Fresh crunchy roll, fresh veggies and plenty of protein. There is limited seating - and a bit cramped for us folks who are not on the thin side, but I was comfortable on the bench along the wall, gave me a great view of the door and street outside. In nice weather, I could see it being great to sit outside. While I was there for 30 minutes or so, a constant stream of regulars stopped by to order to go - always a good sign. As I left there were seven folks inside and it was packed.

Banh Me Tender was awesome! I ordered the Angus Beef sandwich and a vanilla bubble tea and both didn't disappoint. The sandwich was quite large and successfully combined the rich tenderness of a French baguette and the flavor of Vietnamese spices and herbs. The best part was that the meal itself was really affordable. Definitely a lot of bang for your buck. The service was super polite and quick. On a separate note, Banh Me Tender was a really cool place to hangout. Great atmosphere.
