I couldn’t even eat the Cacio e Pepe because it was so bad. Weird tasting sauce and chalky texture. No other cacio e Pepe I had in Rome tasted like this. When I complained to the staff they tasted the pasta and said it was fine. I then waited for 15 minutes to receive the bill, I’m not sure if they were ignoring me because I complained about the pasta or what, but it was super weird. They did take a couple dollars off, but this was a letdown after having so many fantastic pasta dishes in Rome. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience with us. Our Cacio e Pepe is prepared and served in the traditional Roman way, following the same recipe and method we use for all our guests. We understand that personal tastes may differ, and we are sorry that it was not to your liking. We also apologize for the wait when you asked for the bill. We will certainly pay more attention to this aspect and make sure to be quicker in the future.Thank you for your feedback.

Came to Terra Satis On a whim late one night and had an amazing meal! The chicken roulade off their new menu was something I had never tried before and I am so happy I gave it a try! Everything was fresh and the flavors of the puree and the gel it came with was amazing. Service was also amazing everyone was attentive and so sweet! Definitely recommend! Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was so bad, chefs do not seem qualified. Had carbonara which was underdone, visibly clear that pasta is undercooked and white after bitting. Also had beef in carrot onion cream, the meat is too dull and tasteless, onion is too soggy, not enough cream. Aperol sprits is too soft and sweet, not great. Just sat here, cuz the place where we wanted was full, if same happens restaurant next too looked way better with food and portion. Waiter was coming to our table and taking pictures of others, but too invading our space. Still paid extra 3 euros for the service, did not give us receipt. Maybe if you are a local, might get treated better, not great for tourists! Price per person: €30–40 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Thank you for your review. What you describe as “undercooked pasta” is actually what in Italy is called pasta al dente, which is the traditional and correct way to cook pasta. Unfortunately, visitors who are used to eating overcooked pasta abroad may sometimes perceive authentic Italian pasta as undercooked. If you take a look at the reviews left by Italian customers and by guests who know and appreciate genuine Italian cuisine, you will find that our Carbonara is consistently praised, as are our other dishes and even our Spritz.Of course, taste is subjective and everyone is entitled to their own preferences. However, the quality of our ingredients, our recipes, and our preparation is not open to question. The same applies to the professionalism and qualifications of our entire team, including both our chefs and waitstaff. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Nevertheless, when you return to Rome, we would be pleased to welcome you again and perhaps help you better understand authentic Italian cuisine and why our restaurant is so popular despite not being a tourist-oriented establishment. Finally, for the sake of accuracy, the service charge is clearly indicated both on the menu provided at the table and on the fiscal receipt issued at the time of payment. We wish you a pleasant stay in Rome and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again in the future.
