Beautiful place with an amazing atmosphere, outstanding service, and a genuinely caring staff. Sandy and Marie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Even when faced with disrespectful customers, they remained professional, kind, and delivered exceptional service. Their hospitality truly stood out. I highly recommend Abbey Inn and can’t wait to come back. And don’t leave without trying the cookies—they’re absolutely delicious! Service: 5

My wife and I have loved coming here for brunch and the views. Recently I photographed a proposal with these gorgeous view. It was absolutely stunning. The couple planned a weekend away and couldn’t stop raving about their hotel room and dinner the night before. The grounds were amazing and provided so many photo opportunities. This is truly a hidden gem in Peekskill/the Hudson Valley and a unique place to get engaged or married!

Apropos was definitely worth the 35 minute drive from where we were staying. It’s located at The Abbey Inn & Spa; a very nice resort with beautiful landscaping and a breathtaking view of the Hudson River. We got there 30 minutes prior to our lunch reservation and took fabulous photos outside. The ambiance on the inside of the restaurant was very nice as well. We ordered the Reuben sandwich, chicken paillard w arugula salad, French onion soup, icecream sundae and almond cake. We really enjoyed our meals, especially the almond cake for dessert. That cake made it into my top ten favorite desserts of all time! It was absolutely delicious. It definitely took a while for our meals to come out but I didn’t mind because we were enjoying a nice day with my Mom. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. I already made another reservation to go back and would highly recommend Apropos!
