The menu of British cuisine is recommended to degust at this bar. Try good cauliflower cheese, sirloin steaks and mixed grill. Beer is delicious at Alders. It's time to degustate great tea. Visitors don't like yorkshire pudding at this place.

Greeted at the door by Sue, was absolutely lovely and very welcoming. Moved us tables to accommodate the group better. Served by Kenzie who was polite, smiley and very helpful. All round good service Price per person: £1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am writing to express my disappointment with the dining experience I recently had at your establishment. I had heard good things about The Alders and was looking forward to a pleasant meal, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. To begin with, the vegetables had an extremely odd and off-putting taste, which made them difficult to enjoy. The mashed potatoes tasted artificial, as if they were made from a packet rather than being freshly prepared. The meat was, quite frankly, inedible. It was so dry and grainy that it was akin to putting sand in my mouth – a thoroughly unpleasant texture and taste. It is incredibly disappointing to have a meal where not a single element meets even a basic standard of quality. For a venue that presumably prides itself on its offerings, this experience was unacceptable. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary changes to ensure that other patrons do not have to endure such a subpar meal.
