Amazing place to eat! Every bit delicious. Super friendly and attentive service. They have an extensive whiskey selection. I tried a Bunnahbain 18 after a friend recommendation and it was lovely. I would give 10 stars out of 5 if possible. One of the best culinary experience so far. Just perfect under any detail. Very highly recommended. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Vegan options also available, menu is clearly labeled for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

Everything about the Captain Darling comfortably exceeded expectations, including the friendly service and upbeat atmosphere. The simple-sounding starter of toasted sourdough with treacle butter had no business being as delicious as it was, and is a must-order for my next visit. The steak was cooked to perfection with the best char I've had in ages (while still being rare), and served with the best Béarnaise sauce that I can remember. My other half enjoyed her grilled smoked aubergine, so we'd recommend this place for vegetarians and vegans as well. As for sides, the honey glazed carrots were absolutely sensational, and the only reason that we didn't finish the cauliflower cheese was that we were stuffed! All of this was washed down with some wine from their generously expansive menu. We shall be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40
