It is the greatest spot near Contemporary Art Museum. You will try good haddock, battered cod and crispy beef. I have given this restaraunt 3 tries over a period of 3 weeks and would like to share my total experience. 3 weeks ago I walked into the food hall specifically to try The Crispy Cod because the pictures online look great. There is 1 self serve kiosk and 1 register. A customer was placing an order at the kiosk while 1 other gentleman and myself stood behind waiting our turns, along with several who had already placed orders all jumbled throughout because Immediately in front of the restaurant are tables and chairs with people eating so there's nowhere to stand except directly next to people enjoying their meals. The customer at the kiosk finishes and the staff worker at the register offers to take the next customer and suggested I use the kiosk. Since it's my first time I kind of struggled to locate what I was looking for. While this is happening, the man at the register finishes and proceeds to take the order of the gentle who was next after me as well. After seeing this, I expressed how I was having a hard time using the kiosk and asked if he could take my order at the register as he did with the customers before and after me, to which he declined. He was very adimate that I use the kiosk. So he scrolled the kiosk to find what I was looking for and then I completed my order. It wasn't the best experience, but I got the food and it did taste good, so I decided not to complain. 2 weeks ago I went back and attempted to give The Crispy Cod a second try. Again there was 1 customer at the kiosk with 1 waiting after so I joined the queue. I noticed that the customer using the kiosk (an elderly woman) seemed to be having a hard time using the kiosk even though there was a staff member present (this time a woman) that offered very little assistance. After over 10 mins of queueing I left without ordering and thinking that this business really doesn't respect people's time. Today I figured I'd give The Crispy Cod 1 more try. This time I ordered online and set up a pick up time for 4 hours later thinking this will alleviate the queue and ordering issues I've been having, and it did. I walked in at the set time and my food was ready and waiting for me. My problem this time is that I received extremely cold and undercooked catfish and shrimp with my order. The pictures I have do no justice. At this point I can't help but wonder if it is because I didn't lot leave a tip on my online order? Or is this place just not for me? So with that, I apologies to all the reviewers for this lengthy review, but I hope this helps others decided on The Crispy Cod in the future. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
