We had an amazing meal at The Gruff Goat! I tried the creamy chicken with mushrooms and fries, and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked My husband ordered the pasta and he loved it so much that he finished it before I could even take a photo! Beyond the food, the staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. They made our visit even more special. Highly recommend this place if you are in Scotland! My mom and I were starving and stumbled upon this place, we’re so glad we did! I had a burger which was delicious and had a beautiful spring mix instead of the standard ice berg lettuce. They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options. My mom got hummus, falafels and a Greek salad. She said the hummus and falafels were the BEST she’s ever had. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, mild; the perfect flavor and texture. The hummus was creamy and mild, the salad was full of olives and feta! The food was not greasy either. Our server was kind and patient, she answered our questions and provided recommendations which were spot on. Also got to meet the owner which was a treat, definitely recommend! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection, Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes

Skip the chains & have awesome local food from a small business! Great little cafe with wonderful service. We had the full scotch breakfast & pan fried haddock. Service was quick & personable. Food arrive hot & tasty. We had never had haggis and the server/owner? gave us his honest personal opinion and let us have a taste. We loved it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
