I came across the Observatory because me and my friends were looking for a late night bite. I've visited a few times ever since and have tried several things on the menu. Personally, my favorite is the Oregano Fry Bread. I would honestly come here just for the fry bread. The flavors within the bread are so perfect and it is always served hot and fresh. As for entrees, I really liked the Elk Burger. The flavors are very rich within the burger and you can tell all the ingredients are fresh. The fries also have a really nice texture and flavor. They also provide Portland Ketchup which is really really good especially with the fries. I also tried the Lamb burger. I only reccomend the Lamb Burger if you absolutely LOVE the gamey taste of Lamb and the creamy thickness of Goat Cheese. The flavors are quite strong in this burger.
First stop here for lunch. We had pulled pork and club sandwiches with regular fries. Food was fresh and yummy with delicious artisan bread. Intrigued by the extensive cocktail menu but weren't able to partake this time. The service was slightly slow.
Came here today with a friend and we each ordered a root beer float and lamb burger. We also decided to share a $6 order of Oregano fry bread. The rootbeer float and lamb burger tasted good, nothing too special. However, the fry bread was absolutely delicious though, and also pretty filling. For $6 you get 6 pieces of fry bread, which can fill you up. After eating 3 pieces of fry bread and drinking my root beer float, I was pretty full so warning to those who like to order a lot. Portion sizes were really big so you get your money's worth. Server was fast, attentive, and friendly - no complaints. Overall, service and food were both on point and I would definitely come here again, especially for the amazing fry bread.
