Food was good. Took it to go. No forks or napkins in the bag. Ordered a side salad and received a Mac salad. Not a big deal, but didn't look busy enough for a mistake like that. Staff was friendly. Price per person: $20–30

The Shore Shack is a great newer spot in Rockaway Beach with a good variety of food. I had the Hawaiian teriyaki chicken and it was really good, came with rice and macaroni salad and everything was solid. Also grabbed a chocolate shake that definitely hit the spot. Overall this is a nice addition to the area and it is just a short walk from the Fairfield, which makes it an easy stop if you are staying nearby. If you are looking for your new favorite hangout in Pacifica, you absolutely have to check out The Shore Shack. This place is an absolute blast and perfect for the whole family. One of the best things about it is the menu. It is refreshingly simple, but do not let that fool you because the food is even better than you can imagine. The atmosphere is incredibly fun and lively, and the customer service is top notch. It was so impressive how often the staff came by the table to check on us and make sure our drinks were always topped off. The process there is seamless since you pay right when you order, and then the food arrives at your table incredibly fast. The restaurant itself is very clean with plenty of space and comfortable seating so you never feel crowded. They even have a great selection of merchandise you can grab on your way out. If you have room for dessert, their sweet treats are simple but totally amazing. It is also a fantastic spot to keep in mind for big celebrations. Whether you are planning a party or a graduation event, the owner Steve is very accommodating and goes out of his way to work with you on the details. You will not be disappointed with a visit to this spot. Pacifica has truly gained a gem with this one. Go check it out and see for yourself.
