Tomoe is a true local gem. Staff are friendly and efficient and the quality of fish is second to none. Cooked dishes are imaginative and interesting and it has a short but good wine list (Riesling is a particular highlight with the food). I dream of the Hotate sashimi, and the nasu dengaku and special dish of raw prawn, roe and wasabi root are really worth a try. Amazing ramen here, authentic Japanese atmosphere, and excellent food. The sushi and tuna were incredible. Definitely worth a visit! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £40–50
