I was searching for a new restaurant to try for my birthday, and this one caught my eye. Since I enjoy Thai food I thought it will be similar. I am so glad I did, my dish was incredible tasty and my drink was ideal for the hot weather; Zia , the bartender-waitress made us feel so special. I ordered Papawadi Coconut beef curry and my drink was Mango Lazi. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Papawadi Coconut Beef Curry

Compared to Top Burmese in PDX, this "Ambassador" version was just okay. We stopped by on the way back into Portland and I just wished we tried somewhere else because this one is not nearly as good and felt like a disappointing representation of Top Burmese. For example, their expensive tumeric "fries" are just potato chips? The menu felt a bit misleading.... But the lassi was good, altho pricey. And the server was friendly! But I will stick to the NW location as this "Ambassador" version wasn't good on comparison. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

If you are looking for a restaurant/bar that is hip and eclectic, with delicious flavorful food, and amazing service. Top Burmese Ambassador is a 5 star for me. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Curry with Coconut Rice, it is delicious. The chicken is very tender and paired well with the curry gravy. Chef's Kiss!! Although I did not have a drink with Alcohol this time, other tables where enjoying the extensive list of wines and cocktails that are served in wonderful glassware. Our server was very attentive, fun and did not mind that we stayed at the table to talk for a while after our dinner. That was very nice to catch up with my girls! Can't wait to visit again!!!
