I visited this cozy Italian spot near Ford’s Theater. The atmosphere was warm and intimate, with a calm energy that suited our quiet dinner. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and the food—like the steak and pasta—was flavorful and perfectly portioned. Prices felt reasonable for the quality. Restaurant Week introduced me to Tosca, and honestly, I probably would’ve never discovered this restaurant otherwise. What a find! The Restaurant Week menu had a nice variety with something for everybody. I started with their version of a salad that started with an “M” and it was SO good, while my friend had the gazpacho. For our next course, I went with the branzino and my friend got the salmon. Both dishes were flavorful, well made, and beautifully presented. Dessert was another 10/10. I had the tiramisu and my friend had the sorbet. But we HAVE to talk about the homemade focaccia rolls! They almost have the shape and feel of a muffin, with these seasoned tomatoes baked into the middle. When you bite into it, the tomatoes create this delicious, almost saucy center. So good and definitely memorable. The restaurant itself has a cozy ambiance, beautiful mirrors, and it’s quiet enough that you can actually sit and have a conversation. Everything was very clean, and the service was prompt throughout our entire meal. Thankful for Restaurant Week for putting Tosca on my radar because I literally would’ve never noticed it otherwise. Definitely a hidden gem for me and somewhere I’d return to! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Ristorante Tosca is a lovely and inviting spot. The food is flavorful, fresh, and feels carefully prepared. I especially enjoyed the pasta and main dishes—they were delicious and satisfying.
