Cool cafe in a cool part of town. A slight haughty attitude from the staff. And definitely on the pricer side. Two breakfast items, two tiny tumblers of iced coffee, a slice of bread, and service charge came to £42. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: £20–30

Absolutely worth the wait. We queued for about 30 minutes for a table for dinner on a Saturday at 6:30pm, and given Towpath’s unassuming canal-side setting with little picnic benches and a tiny kitchen, I wasn’t expecting the food to be quite this exceptional. Honestly, some of the best food I’ve had in London. That tiny kitchen is turning out absolute masterpieces. The lamb curry was a standout, and the taramasalata with radishes was better than versions I’ve had in Greece. Everything felt thoughtful, unfussy and packed with flavor. I will say they’re quite particular about the queue and can initially come across a little standoffish, but that completely dissipated once we were seated. An incredible meal in a wonderfully understated setting. Very much worth the wait. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £70–80

Over rated and over priced. I found some staff members rude (not all) which blighted my experience. I could not recommend this cafe and certainly will not be returning to spend any more of my money.
