The wait staff were truly genuine and very friendly. The food was fresh an exceptional!!!! The Calamari was the best I ever had. I was born and brought up in Rome. This place should be winning awards. Very high level food at basic prices. They clearly love what they do. Great ingredients, fantastic cooking. Service is personal, efficient, precise.

Walked in there a few weeks ago on our trip to Roma. went to the bathroom and in two minutes the lights shut off automatically. Hot as heck in there and the accordion door was stuck and pitch blank. Unfortunately didn’t have my cellphone with me I could have used the flashlight. Banged on the door for help and the waiters, all three of them, Mo Larry and Curly, for lack of better names, couldn’t even get the door open. I finally managed to kick the accordion door open myself. The motion lights went on and I opened the door finally after a nightmare experience. The worst part is that the waiter didn’t even want to acknowledge they had a problem. I said how can you have a two minute shutoff with motion lights in the bathroom?! His answer to me was “ I don’t own this restaurant. I just work here”. SMH. And he also said “well why are you so angry now!?? You are okay”. Okay? Getting older here and much more prone to God forbid a Heart attack or stroke. He could have offered me a drink of water. Nothing. Suffice to say we walked out and found another place to eat that night. Never again want to deal with restaurant workers that don’t make any effort to deal with a problem or at least say I will tell my boss about it. Again. SMH.
