I had a very disappointing experience at Tre in Lucina. I was served a glass with clearly visible lipstick marks from a previous customer before I had even touched it. When I politely asked to speak to the manager, another waiter came over and accused me of making the lipstick mark myself, which was completely false. After that, I no longer felt comfortable eating there and asked to cancel my breakfast. The manager told me they wash their glasses in a dishwasher, so it wasn’t their fault. However, it is the restaurant’s responsibility to ensure glasses are actually clean before serving customers. Despite the hygiene issue and the fact that I did not eat any of the breakfast, I was told I still had to pay. I paid in full and left without eating anything. The dirty glass was unacceptable, but the way the staff handled the situation was even worse. Instead of apologising, they blamed the customer and took no responsibility.
