What a shame that I even have to write this review. We had chosen a beautiful venue for a birthday celebration, and everything about the setting was, honestly, perfect — a lovely atmosphere, great company, and every reason to expect a wonderful evening. Unfortunately, somewhere along the way we apparently managed to annoy our waiter, and from that point on he made it his personal mission to ruin the night. He ignored our table for the entire evening, pointedly dropped a sorbeto on the table and rushed off before anyone could get a word in, and made it effectively impossible to place an order. Whatever we had supposedly done, his response was to sulk his way through service at our expense. To be fair, the female staff were genuinely wonderful — attentive, warm, and professional. The problem was one waiter whose personal moods clearly got the better of him, and who seems unable to read his guests or keep his feelings out of his job. A beautiful evening, undone not by the venue, the food, or the setting, but by the unprofessional attitude of a single member of staff. A real disappointment, and entirely avoidable.

I recently had a fantastic dining experience at Ristorante Trattoria Tre Merli. Even without a reservation, I had no problem getting seated, which was a great start to the evening. The menu had an excellent selection of seafood, and we decided to share two starters, both of which were delicious. I opted for the seabass as my main course, and it was cooked to perfection—truly one of the best I've had. The Prosecco was also a perfect pairing with our meal, elevating the flavors of each dish. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine and a wonderful atmosphere! Five stars all the way. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
