The manager there Cassie is great. She will try to help you if she can and really cares about your experience as either a new or experienced shooter. Her staff is knowledgeable (Richard, Jacob, Dakota, and Rob)and has a lot of great down to earth employees. When you come in as a regular, the staff does a great job of remembering you from weeks before as well. Very satisfied with the store and its employees. Would recommend to any of my friends and family to buy their gun here. Also, there is a surprisingly good pizza maker in their store that completely surprised me and beats half the pizza joints in Durham easily. Great place to shoot, eat lunch, browse guns, shoot the breeze with the employees, possibly buy a gun all in one day! Also, their armorer, Gage, is knowledgeable and willing to answer questions that new gun owners would and should ask! I’ll continue to buy my guns here as long as their service stays the same!

I visited Triangle Shooting Academy for the first time, and unfortunately, it will also be my last. My group paid for one hour of range time but chose to leave before our allotted time was over because of our interaction with James, the Range Safety Officer (RSO). Rather than creating a safe and welcoming environment, he used what I perceived as intimidation tactics and behaved in a manner that was unprofessional and inappropriate. A Range Safety Officer plays an important role in ensuring safety, but that responsibility should be carried out with professionalism, respect, and good customer service. Our experience left us feeling uncomfortable enough to end our session early and forfeit the remainder of the time we had paid for.
