We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the entire vibe here. Soft music, quiet atmosphere, wonderful and attentive service…and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the seared salmon and my husband ordered rockfish. As good as it all was…my favorite was most likely the berry crisp with huckleberry ice cream. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $40–50

Exceptional Lodge Dining Experience with Unbeatable Views. If you are staying at the lodge, the Two Rivers restaurant offers a truly standout dining experience that complements the scenic beauty of the surrounding area. While I noticed older reviews from nearly a year ago criticizing management, my recent visit was nothing short of five stars. It would be valuable for management to respond to both positive and negative reviews. The Atmosphere The setting is magnificent. The dining room features a wall of windows that spans the entire room, offering breathtaking views that make every meal feel special. The lodge itself is surrounded by beautiful trails—though a word of caution: bring mosquito repellent if you plan to explore them, as they can be quite active. The Food The culinary experience was largely excellent. The standout for us was the prime ribeye—while it is technically mislabeled on the menu as "prime rib," the steak itself was outstanding. It is served with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables, and I enjoyed it so much that I ordered it two nights in a row. We also thoroughly enjoyed the salmon and found the crab cakes to be a highlight of our meals. For a unique treat, they offer a selection of craft sodas, such as blueberry and cream, which make for a fantastic ice cream float—the quality of the ice cream itself was quite good. When we were there at the end of June, they were also offering a huckleberry ice cream, which was delicious! If you like any type of berries, I would recommend this ice cream. We had breakfast as well and enjoyed a breakfast burrito and a steak breakfast bowl both were outstanding. Fresh, hot, with excellent flavor. Note on the vegetables: While the summer squash on our first night was prepared well, the broccoli and carrots on the second night were a bit undercooked, and the carrots were served with the green stems still attached, which was a bit unusual. Service & Value I found the service to be attentive, caring, and kind. It is worth noting that the staff is seasonal and some are new, but they clearly put in the effort to provide a great experience. Our service felt very standard and professional for a high-end lodge. Regarding the pricing, it is on the higher side. However, my breakfast and dinner were included as part of my Princess Cruises land tour package, so I was able to enjoy the meals without worrying about the bill. If you are visiting as part of a similar package, you are in for a treat. Overall, I highly recommend Two Rivers for anyone looking for a memorable meal with a view. It captures the true spirit of a nice lodge experience. Price per person: $80–90 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Dietary restrictions: I had noted through Princess that I had a shellfish allergy and they did consult with me every night. as the staff is both seasonal and often new, I would always still recommend looking out for yourself regarding allergies.
