food comes out with no flavor cold and burnt way beyond recognition. you should not almost break a tooth trying to bite into some barbecue chicken but the skin was so hard and burnt. by far the worst barbecue experience I've had anywhere here in this town. The food service drinks are not worth the price you charge.

Visited Drunky Two Shoes BBQ many, many, many times in the pre-Yelp and Yelp timeframe. Unfortunately over time it has gone from 5 to 3 and after yesterday's experience down to 1 Yelp star (6/23/18). If only it could be 1/1000th of a star, but they didn't ignore us entirely. It is rare to get one star from me, especially for a long time favored BBQ establishment. Truly a shame! The outside deck, bar, and indoor seating was fairly full. No surprise as it was a decent Saturday summer evening. This was a huge request from my son Alex (Yelpers know him as The Homie) since he will be undergoing oral surgery on Monday. Fine, pork ribs and the farmers mac and cheese will be the ultimate goal. We were the second party waiting. Somehow, the two wait staff at the host stand seemed harried, aggravated, put upon, not smiling, and one nearly side checked me in her haste. Geez. The pair ahead of us finally got seated. Now a third wait person (the lone one who had sunglasses on, braids, and an actual smile) appeared and offered outdoor seating, of which the other unwelcoming one snapped, it's full house. Alrighty then... We were then offered one of two indoor booths and told to go ahead and seat yourselves, water and menus will be brought over shortly. We sit down and this person from an adjacent table accuses us of stealing a table and flags down snotty wait person to say so in such an accusatory tone. Evidently, this particular booth was reserved, despite no signage stating that fact. It was loud with those stereotypical yahoos, but I was trying real hard to be a good sport on behalf of my son. But seriously? This is ridiculous. You wait patiently, but after buttons pushed after driving the @#&% from Shoreline and you are hitting critical hangry mode....this was simply unacceptable! Never, ever experienced this from all previous visits. This is a first. But ever feel you are not welcomed, well trust your gut instincts and get the hell outta there, pronto tout suite!!! Ladies, there are just three of you working as a supposed team representing your establishment. F-ING communicate to each other the status of your seating zones. Take a time out. Find your happy zone. Whatever. Not a challenge. I get it totally, as I used to work in the industry. If you, for whatever reason, didn't want to seat a parent and her teenage son because we weren't hipster enough or whatever whack criteria we didn't meet, make up some semi-convincing BS that it'll be some ungodly wait, remaining booths are reserved, whatever. We had shirts on, shoes too, albeit Birkenstocks. Still no decent service provided from the get go. No worries, we'll just take our business elsewhere. And the culinary gods allowed that, where I dropped well over a hundred at JuneBaby in Ravenna instead. Alex snagged one of their Saturday BBQ specials, we experienced decent service, and had an enjoyable dinner. All's good in the world. Just not that particular moment in time at Drunky Two Shoes BBQ in Frelard. One star, and without any food served. That speaks volumes.
