I had Gomoku kamameshi and the food was good though not excellent. The elderly lady was very nice and kind to customers. But, here you need to eat and pay for the so called "oto oshi," which is very small side dish compulsarily served to everyone. The price of the oto oshi was 600 yen, which seems high considering the small size and compulsariness. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

A wonderful place to try traditional Japanese dishes. We had the chicken meatballs, spring rolls, and crab kamameshi (rice in iron pot). Everything was prepared wonderfully. The staff were kind and welcoming. They even had instructions on the menu to be safe around allergens and make it easy to order for people who don’t speak Japanese. Very impressive! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We arrived 30mins before the opening, the waitress walked in and out, they saw us standing and waiting outside the restaurant, but just kept us waiting without any asking. When it opened, we were told that we are not allowed to get in because we did not make a reservation. Service: 1
