My go-to vegan spot before a big hike in the Bay Area. Their food is really flavorful and filling, and I have some of the best memories with my now-husband back when we were dating at this spot.

We got the sausage breakfast sandwich and the chickn and waffles sandwich, they were good! I wasn't super wowed by the flavor but it was decent! Fast and friendly service as well.

Good choice for people "transitioning" to plant-based diet, but who still want familiar standards they're used to. To offer that, Vegan Picnic serves up a lot of "faux meats" as part of its menu items. That's better than disease-promoting animal flesh, but not the best choice for people wanting their food to be both tasty AND healthful. VP would earn 5 stars if it eliminated the highly refined, junk-food items and ingredients. Bottom line: would I still eat there? Sure!
