If you want proper fish + chips, go to Vellas Fish Bar Express. Always hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Nothing beats it in town. Great food, great service, great price! 10/10

Our food was not very nice and there where bones in almost every bite of our fish. Honestly the best part was the pineapple fritters. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Went here recently after my family stopped coming when the business changed ownership. Heard good things bout it through my community so wanted to give it a chance but to say the least it reminded me why we stopped in the first place. Overall experience felt disorganised with the amount of juniors running things, combined with how lazily the food was prepared and wrapped. Surprisingly the fish had decreased in quality yet again (smaller with chunks of batter missing) and had minimal flavour for the amount of oil the paper was soaked in. Honestly, it was far too rushed and had little love put into it for what I assume is a family owned business now. Do better Vellas Express (Sunday?) crew. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
