Such a lovely, quiet and clean place with excellent service. The food arrived hot and fresh, and everything was delicious for the most part. My husband’s steak was cooked perfectly, while my lasagna was hot, meaty and wonderfully cheesy. The only disappointment was my salad, which was basically just lettuce with ranch and could have used a little more variety. Aside from that, we had a really enjoyable meal and our server was fantastic.

Food and service are always wonderful, I’ve been coming here on and off with my husband for many years. BUT i have been biting my tongue for months about something i’ve been noticing which is the way i hear the employees speaking to each other. we like to sit towards the back of the restaurant and i can’t even keep track of the horrible things i’ve heard! cuss words galore, i even heard someone from the kitchen yell out to one of the girls that she’s a “fat whale” lots of yelling from the cooks at who i can only assume are yelling at the waitresses. the last time we came in we heard a man in the kitchen loudly berating and swearing at someone, and then our server came back with our food flustered and on the verge of tears!! for a family owned business i am shocked and appalled that the owners/managers would allow for such a CLEARLY hostile environment. we love the venesian inn but i don’t know if we can support a restaurant that allows their staff to treat people this way or be treated this way. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
