First time in Koh Samui and having done some prior research on the local bars of Lamai we found an absolute diamond of a place directly opposite our hotel... Rob and Case are amazing hosts, the beer is cold and being a punk the music played is amazing ( you can ask Rob for a request and guaranteed he will line it up for you! ).. Truly a fantastic pub with some interesting characters and a warm welcome + fantastic conversation... We will miss this place when we head back to the UK... "The Viper Room Rock Pub" is simply the bomb! A real gem for those who appreciate a cool atmosphere and great company in Koh Samui. While there isn't live music in the traditional sense, it doesn't spoil the experience at all – everyone can feel like a DJ and put on their favorite song on YouTube! This creates an incredibly friendly and interactive vibe. A huge hello from that Russian couple who were looking for a house in Koh Samui (and, hooray, found it!). Your advice and warm welcome played a significant role in our successful search! Thank you so much for your hospitality! And of course, I can't forget to mention the amazing owner of this place! His energy and positive attitude are contagious. He truly makes this place special. The drinks are excellent, the prices are quite reasonable, and the ability to choose your own music makes "The Viper Room Rock Pub" a completely unique spot on the island. If you want to spend an evening in a relaxed atmosphere, listen to your favorite tracks, and chat with cool people (and meet a wonderful owner!), then this is definitely the place for you! 5 stars, without a doubt!
