After a long walk around Victor Steinbrueck Park, come to this bar and have a rest here. It's time to try perfectly cooked smoked salmon, eggs benedict and salmon chowder. Tasty gelato, yogurt and French toasts have a nice taste. Don't miss the opportunity to order delicious craft beer, wine or whiskey. Virginia Inn has good French coffee, lemonade or juice among its drinks.
The warm atmosphere of this place makes visitors feel relaxed and have a good time. A lot of people have noticed that the staff is cheerful here. So proud to be the 1,000th Reviewer, because this restaurant is consistently amazing. I don't know why it's taken me this long to write this, but I recently took some visiting guests (my parents) to Virginia Inn and it was a 10/10 experience. I love the local artwork they display too since they are part of the local art walk each month. The atmosphere is nice enough for a Valentine's Day date and casual enough that I don't need to go home and change before I eat if I've been out and about exploring the city. During our last visit, we were sat and greeted immediately, quickly received iced water while we reviewed the menu, and were told the special(s). Our waiter was knowledgeable about the menu, which is great because I'm gluten intolerant and it always makes me feel better to know the restaurant staff is confident about their menu. I always feel comfortable eating here and by experience, I really trust this kitchen. On this occasion I had the gluten free Fish & Chips and split it and the Steak Frites with my husband... because their food is too good to only choose one meal! We've had lots of dishes here - the salads, calamari, burger, lamb, etc. and we get the most incredible dessert each time. This last trip we sampled all 3 of the GF desserts - the cheesecake, the carrot cake, and the chocolate cake, and to my complete surprise, the carrot cake was my favorite and and was so soft and fluffy. I've truly never had a mediocre meal here, much less a bad meal. It's always WONDERFUL! To the Virginia Inn team, thank you for having GF options and for always knocking it out of the park. I look forward to returning many times in the future and continuing to support your business in any way I can. Ordered two dishes: crab cakes and burger with bacon and avocado. Hoped to have an IPA, but one was listed at $65 and a second $70 — that was too rich for a beer. The crab cakes, beautifully presented, was crispy on the outside but soggy on the inside (about the same consistency as that of a tooth taste). I couldn’t finish them. The burger was good, but the bacon (as a $5 add-on) was too salty for my taste. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $60–70 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

It seems you misunderstood our menu. All of our pints of beer are $9. The numbers you're referring to are the IBU (International Bitterness Units), commonly listed on beer menus. Please let us know if you have any questions during your visit.

Definitely Virginia Inn is a place you want to dine or lunch or brunch. It brings you Seattle old fashion and good classic taste and vibe. For a fast snack fried gluten free calamari and garlic fries and white wine are recommended. Plenty of choices. The knowledge of the staff is above the normal costumer service for a unique and great original experience in Seattle downtown out of the touristic crowed area.
