Warakubune is my absolute favorite spot for Sushi in The City. A coworker brought me here in 2009, and I've been coming in ever since. My favorite items include the following: Sea Weed Salad, which is always nice and crisp here. Nigiri - I like the Toro and Red Snapper. Rolls - I like the Asparagus tempura, and the House Special Roll. Sashimi - The Spicy Seared White Tuna with the garlic sauce. There is a tomato on the plate. You can't miss it! My partner isn't a raw fish guy. The restaurant is still very accommodating, and I've snuck some of his Katsu or Tempura, and it's great. Personally, I love Raw everything, and I love the quality here. Most boat restaurants don't have quality items, but everything here is wonderful. The ambiance is nice, there is music that I only notice if it's quiet. I should mention, this place can get crowded, so do expect a bit of waiting. It's worth it! Or-be there at opening time. (I always feel a little like a kid on Christmas doing that, but hey, at least you get a seat.)
