Delicious Food, But Service Needs Improvement. After taking a walk at the park, we decided to check out Water Table Restaurant. We were excited to try the place, and when we walked in, we immediately sat down on the patio. We expected to be helped fairly quickly, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. Other customers came in after us and were assisted first. They received water and had their orders taken while we were still waiting. Eventually, another server came over to us. She was a very pleasant lady and was friendly when she took our order, so we appreciated her attitude. Unfortunately, after taking our order and bringing out our food, she never came back to check on us. I wanted some hot sauce with my breakfast, but there was no one checking on our table, so I ended up eating without it. It’s a small thing, but it’s those little details and the follow-up service that make a difference, especially at a restaurant like this. The food itself was delicious, and honestly, that’s what saved this review from being a 1-star experience. We really enjoyed our meal, but the lack of attentiveness from the server was disappointing and did not feel professional for this type of restaurant. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the food has the potential to bring customers back, but the service needs to match the quality of the food. I absolutely enjoyed my experience here! I was warmly welcomed and promptly shown to the table I had reserved. The hostess was very professional, attentive, and understood my order perfectly. I didn’t have to wait long before my food arrived, and everything was wonderful. The ambience was fantastic, and I especially loved the beautiful lake views, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I had a great time and will definitely be coming back!
