This place is amazing, the food is always cooked to perfection, the staff are so friendly. If only I lived closer I'd be in here everyday!!!

Nice garden with small playground for the kids (and a larger public playground around the corner). ✅
Friendly and attentive waitress. ?
Food generally tasted good, with the only major gripe that we asked for my steak (which was the bit I was most looking forward to) to be medium rare, but it came out well done and was thin and sinewy.
Mentioned this to the waitress, but didn’t really get any response ?‍♂️
Would try this place again though still ?

We have recently moved to the area and decided to book and give Winterbourne arms a try. Having drove past it looked like a lovely place to eat and have a couple of drinks. We arrived and were asked to take a seat and someone would be with us. The staff were pleasent but unfortunately we cannot say the same for the food, Calamari wasn't cooked through and quite soggy. I went for the carbonara with chicken, this was tasteless bland and the chicken was dry. My partner had the scampi this wasn't too bad but the mushy peas were cold. I ordered Creme brulee for desert it was just custard in a bowl I was told the top couldn't be made crisp as the kitchen was too hot!! isn't this done with a blow torch? drink service wasn't the best my partner ordered a drink and they just forgot to bring it (this was the reason when asked) it's a shame but we won't be going back again anytime soon.
