1 Star — Disappointing Experience at Wow Lounge Cardiff I decided to visit Wow Lounge Cardiff after seeing the high Google ratings and the mouth-watering food photos online. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations. On arrival, the place looked like a collection of dimly lit, mismatched rooms. Only a few customers were present: a family finishing their meal, two men chatting in a corner, and a man on a laptop who initially directed me to the toilets when I walked in and asked, and I certainly didn’t feel welcomed. When I returned, he asked what I wanted, and after I pointed out that people generally come to a restaurant for food, he handed me a menu. I found a seat in the mostly empty restaurant and waited and waited. After sitting there for about 20 minutes with absolutely no service, I gave up and left. I ended up driving to Nando’s for a proper meal. Though I didn’t get the chance to try the food, the service was far below standard, the décor was shabby, and the overall customer service desperately needs improvement. It reminded me of the kind of disorganised service you might find in a very low-quality restaurant in Nigeria - perhaps they captured some “Nigerian essence,” but certainly not in a good way. I expected much better, especially based on the ratings. Sadly, this is a 1-star experience from me. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Sorry for your experience Ezekwesirim, which from all indications was an isolated case. You will recall that we tried to engage you in a conversation realising the whole scenario was connected with you not hearing us. We attempted to clear your views and to see how we can meet your expectations but rather than listening to us, the next thing you said was " I have given you bad reviews" and then you walked out. Wow Lounge Cardiff is home to everyone and we hope you will be around another time to enable us make it up to you. Regards
